The program is divided into 5 weeks, starting with a week of prep. You’ll need to spend some time each week reviewing the modules and planning/preparing food. Most recipes can be made in 30-minutes with a few exceptions for crockpot type recipes which are ideal for meal prep but require minimal prep time.

You’ll save time by following the meal plans each week and using the done-for-you shopping lists.

Everyone is different when it comes to weight loss and in the first week, you should expect some water loss and you could lose anywhere from 1 to 8 pounds (0.5 – 3.6kg).

Following the initial water loss, typical weight loss is 0.5-5lbs (0.2 – 2.2kg) per week.

Everyone’s physiology is different though, so anything in this range is normal. Weight loss will depend on many factors including current health, age, fitness level, metabolism and hormones.

Focussing on body composition is also important as if you’re also exercising, and doing weight-bearing exercise, you will increase muscle and lose fat. Body fat may be decreasing but the scale hasn’t moved because of the increase in muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat and burns more calories per pound than fat. You may also notice more energy, less bloating and just feeling better.

Keto Fantastic will actually save you money by providing meal plans, and shopping lists so you’ll be organized with your grocery shopping so there’ll be no last minute expensive “what’s for dinner” purchasing (including unplanned take-out). You don’t need to eat dairy to do keto. In fact, I recommend that you don’t overeat dairy because it can be inflammatory for some people and it can actually prevent weight loss if you go overboard. There are lots of dairy-free options for people who don’t eat dairy, so don’t think keto is off-limits just because you can’t eat dairy products. Substitutes for dairy include nut milks and cheeses, coconut cream and milk, ghee, avocados etc

If you focus on eating healthy, whole foods, you can get most of the nutrients you need from keto food. I personally enjoy adding MCT oil powder to my coffee (MCT is a whole food, by the way, made from coconut) and use a magnesium supplement, but those are by no means compulsory.

Most of the population in western countries are magnesium deficient so this is something you should take (and may already) no matter what you eat.
