Add ground beef and bacon to large skillet or dutch oven
Cook over medium high heat until fat begins to render
Add diced peppers and garlic and continue to cook for 8-10 minutes until beef is fully cooked, bacon begins to caramelize and peppers soften
Add seasonings, tomatoes and broth and stir
Let simmer 10 more minutes then serve with optional toppings
