Spicy Mayo Sauce

  • Add ground pork to skillet over medium high heat and cook until fat just starts to render
  • Add chopped pepper, onion and garlic and continue cooking, breaking apart pork until fully cooked and pork starts to caramelize and veggies are slightly tender, about 8-10 minutes
  • Whisk together tamari, vinegar, chili garlic sauce, ginger and sweetener and pour over pork mixture in skillet
  • Allow to simmer for about 2-3 minutes, then add cabbage and allow to cook for 3-4 minutes more until cabbage is tender
  • Divide into 4 bowls for serving
  • Whisk together mayo and hot sauce and pour over individual servings and top with chopped cilantro, sesame and onions or as desired

  • Serving kids? Serve with plain mayo and skip the hot sauce mayo for them. If they complain about even the slightest hint of spice, leave the chili garlic sauce out of mayo sauce and the cooking sauce.
  • Meat substitutes? This recipe calls for pork but you can substitute ground beef or chicken
  • Leftover keto crack slaw? Keep in the fridge in a covered container for 2-3 days
  • Freeze leftovers? Keto egg roll bowl can be frozen in an airtight container for 2-3 months
