Leftovers sauce or shrimp? Leftover shrimp can be kept in the fridge for 1-2 days only. The sauce on its own will keep for 3-5 days in an airtight container.
Leftover shirataki noodles? Use within 3 days after opening the packet, ensuring the noodles are covered in the original liquid or add enough water to cover.
Can you freeze shirataki noodles? No, shirataki noodles should not be frozen whether still in the packet or after cooking.
Save time? Use jarred minced garlic and you won't need to chop anything
What to serve the carb-eaters? Cook some spaghetti for the carb eaters.
Substitute for shirataki noodles? This dish would be delicious served with zucchini noodles (zoodles) if you're not a fan of shirataki noodles
Want more flavor? Add 6 chopped anchovy fillets and 2 tbsp small capers with the olives for an even more authentic taste.
